Does anyone have any info on the Atlas Interview. I have one in the next month and I am trying to get the skinny.

Thanx in advance,

CW, right now all the hiring is for Atlas but it's a dual interview. They really stress that you will be on the road 19-20 days and at times lines could go back to back. Junior base for Atlas is Stansted but they ticket you over from a gateway. Normal stack of paperwork, total time, total jet PIC and SIC, T-prop more than and less than 20,000 lb (I think that was the break point) PIC and SIC and other PIC and SIC. ALso the same for the last 2 years and the last 6 months. Panel with a Atlas CP, one from Polar and HR. Read through a METAR report and Jepp plate. "Why Atlas" and "tell us about a time." Fifteen or 20 minutes and back to paperwork. Sim is a takeoff and join a departure, vectors to a hold and vector to an ILS. F/O does all the config setting and you get a briefing sheet with rough pitch and power settings. Done by 3pm. They're hiring for an early June or late July class. Hope this helps.

TW,

Thanx for all the info. I talked to HR and she seemed to be pretty honest about the schedule and QoL.

I appreciate it.

20 days if you're lucky. Plan on 30+ as a normal routine.

Thanks for the info. The interview was laid back and pretty much as you reported. We were told that the interview group was for an October time frame which would work perfect for me because I am working another job. We were told that it would take 2 weeks to find out the results and I am waiting.........

Once again thanx for thew info

Not to be nosy, but what were your quals? If you'd rather not disclose, use the PM function.

Thanks, just curious because I want to try to get on there. Did you have an internal rec?

Dojet,

My time: 16000+ hr; 17 yrs B-737; 13 as capt.; 3 types; 45 yrs old.

No internal recs.

Once again a very straight forward interview process. They should all be this realistic.
