Funny, I was waiting for someone to nominate CRK (Subic for purple types) just didn't expect it'd be you...

:D

Personally I think Singapore is one of my favorites...

The Singapore hotel is incredible. I kinda like Taipei, too. I hate Clark. A decent hotel would make all the difference. Anyhow, I think the length of layover is the biggest factor. 72 hours is enough time to enjoy anywhere but 12 hours in SIN would suck, even though it's a great place.

I've only stayed at NRT a couple times. They were pretty short. We stay at that Northwest hotel. Didn't seem to be much around. I like KIX better.

What about Dubai. In the fall, winter and spring only of course. great hotel and beaches. And don't forget the downhill skiing!

I heard they were looking into another hotel right downtown a while ago but they were afraid about the female crew members feeling uncomfortable in the downtown 'environment.'

Can't remember the name of the hotel they supposedly were looking into but it's the one that sort of looks like an old style "Roman" hotel with "warrior women" statues supporting the columns? - You know which one?
I do believe the hotel we are staying at right now will be going through a major renovation very soon. They are looking into a temporarily replacement but it'll still be within the base area.

Speaking of Singapore – has anyone done the Orient Express train trip out of Singapore? If so, how did you like it and did you go all the way to Thailand, Laos, etc?

It’s expensive but it looks like a trip that I’d love to enjoy with my lady at least once, before it bankrupts me. :D
