FedEx Pay Only

I'm scheduled for requal training on 21 Apr. Should the bid pack show my status as pay only? If so, how do I correct this?

Are you NOQ?

MX727 03-13-2008 08:41 PM

No, you won't show as pay only until the May bidpack. Bid the lines you want, but I'd recommend you try to bid as much as you can in conflict with the training dates. Check the contract for specifics on bidding in a training month during ITU.

No, not NOQ. So then I could fly a normal line that does not conflict with training then I would be in training for no additional pay. Also if I go sick for any training event I would be charged 3 hours sick leave for every event missed. I would be charged sick leave for an event for which I'm not being paid.

Oh, okay, just curious why a "requal". I see no classes for 4/21 on the 727 training letter!? I had to go requal training in June after being out on medical for a couple of months and missing my grace month. My requal was 4 days - GS, Requal WU, Requal MV, and Requal LOE.

I had gone NOQ, but not before the monthly bid closed, so I was able to bid. If I had gone NOQ a couple of days later, I would not have been able to bid. The earliest sim they could schedule me was during the last week of the next bid month, and since I was NOQ, I just sat at home until the end of that month and then just worked those 4 days to get requal'd.

HTH

It will show PAY ONLY in the bid pack if you're in that status for the entire month.

KnightFlyer 03-14-2008 08:22 AM

When you go into VIPS to enter your monthly bid, it will tell you what status you are bidding for. The bidpack can be dated, especially when you are leaving Pay Only status and returning to the line.
