No, you won't show as pay only until the May bidpack. Bid the lines you want, but I'd recommend you try to bid as much as you can in conflict with the training dates. Check the contract for specifics on bidding in a training month during ITU.

No, not NOQ. So then I could fly a normal line that does not conflict with training then I would be in training for no additional pay. Also if I go sick for any training event I would be charged 3 hours sick leave for every event missed. I would be charged sick leave for an event for which I'm not being paid.

so just RETIRE and all these problems go away

I had gone NOQ, but not before the monthly bid closed, so I was able to bid. If I had gone NOQ a couple of days later, I would not have been able to bid. The earliest sim they could schedule me was during the last week of the next bid month, and since I was NOQ, I just sat at home until the end of that month and then just worked those 4 days to get requal'd.
