Default Polar Jumpseat out of ORD

Can any Polar guys tell me where your crew hotel is in ORD? Would it be best to meet the crew there for a jumpseat, rather than looking for Polar's office on the cargo side of the field? I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

Alright, Mr. Springer. . . . R2 through the 16th. I'll keep my eye out for ya and those O.B.'s! Who knows where we'll end up. By the way today is day one of the saga that we talked about (Arbitration).

The "saga" has been ongoing. Yesterday was one day closer to a merged seniority list and one CBA in my opinion of course. Good luck to you holding your breath .

If you read the scope section of the Polar contract, and review the machinations of the deal that AAWH proposed, you might see why we're fighting this. Take out all the "he said-she said" stuff. Look at AAWH's first proposal of one certificate, one list. Before they could complete that deal, they now want two certificates and one list. Our contract says a "complete operational merger". The PO MEC's interpretation (which the MEC seems to have 100% backing from the pilots), and for that matter, what I read in the contract, there is not a complete operational merger. Please read the "Flight Services Agreement" document.

At the end of the day, with my seniority, it won't matter to me too much. Since you're about 7 to 10 numbers senior to me on the merged list it won't affect you very much either. The vast majority of 5Y pilots seem like good dudes. Both sides have their yutzes. Neither PolarFr8, nor I wish any ill toward any 5Y pilots, so why is it every time we post to each other in regard to matters of work, without degrading 5Y in anyway, do you feel a need to interject?

Hey Jerry,

No need to interject just expressing my opinion..
I look forward to the day we are either on the same team or independent and not in court fighting.
Now with that said, you may be correct on all points you wrote but you left out one key document. Your leaders signed a "back to work agreement"after the strike. That includes the merged list which is waiting to be activated prior to joint contract negotiations. Lets see what the arbitrator says.
May the best lawyer win...

I know you guys at Atlas/Polor have bigger issues to worry about. But if, and I mean If, there is a merged seniority list, will they continue to hire, or will guys get furloughed as a result?

Just curious, want to put my stuff in there when I get some more PIC time.
