How can Fedex call for operation emergency in for the entire lower 48 states?
Is it the end of the world?

I think that all of the 20,000 pieces of British Airways luggage needed to be delivered ASAP!!

I guess 69 jets diverting from our major hub doesn't effect any of other domestic ops.....

Yesterday afternoon's sort was about an hour late. When we finally took off headed to the west coast, there were still planes landing from their morning inbound legs (around 1730L).

Yeah, that's a load of crap!
Lets see? When the diversions from our main hub (MEM) cause a huge back-up of planes waiting for non-existent empty gates at our other major hub (IND), I would call that an operational emergency. Me thinks the crap you smell is coming from your own diaper.
Now where did that cry baby icon go?

My buddy was scheduled to fly an AM OB and be done at 930am. He took off around 830am and was finished around 2pm. Ouch!
