UPS Starting Point?
Anyone have information on UPS flight internships? Does UPS offer any? Locations? Colleges affiliated with?
Thanks for the info.! |
I believe they are more like co-ops. It is a year long, paid position in the Flight Ops department. It seems that many of them are from nearby Purdue University. If you go to upsjobs.com they should have a posting when they are recruiting for the positions. Good luck!

Does UPS work with Univ. of Louisville?

Yes, UPS offers one-year paid Co-ops...all over Air Group in Louisville including Aircraft Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, ASAP/Safety, etc.
I believe to be considered for a Flight Training co-op you must be at least a junior at an accredited university with an aviation program, and hold at least a commercial license (not 100% sure about all that). The last couple years they have posted the job requisition for all Air Group co-ops on www.upsjobs.com under the Professional/Air Operations distinction. In the last few years Flight Training Co-ops have come from Southern Illinois, Embry-Riddle, Purdue, Indiana State, University of Illinois, St. Louis/Parks, Purdue (myself included) and others I don't recall off the top of my head. My co-op was a wonderful professional and personal experience that I would not trade for anything...I HIGHLY recommend it! |
