FDX - A Victory for DP pilots!
I guess enough pilots picked up the CDG-MAN-MEM pairings voluntarily to make the SIG cry "Uncle". It is no longer disputed and anyone can fly them. Looks like the tail is wagging the dog on this one. Who's on first?

What is so sad about this, is that the majority of people who pick up DPs are probably on the crew bus b&tching and complaining about the bidpacks and the lines. Wonder why? Here is to the future of FedEx flying; pairings which push up to limits of operational duty times.

Great job guys you have beaten the system and shown all your fellow pilots that being a one way greedy SOB pays off for you! Now you can stand tall and say, "I proved the SIG wrong." You must be so proud!

It's going to be painful to listen to the whining once the sweeteners are gone and there's nothing left but strings of 15 hr duty days.
Maybe the DP fliers will figure it out once we get trips that fly around the world in 4 days for 25 CH.

Proud? Let's see how long that lasts now that the great d/h's and long layovers will go away on these trips.

We forget that this is a victory for the company!! They (the company) write these POS trips and the SIG tries to protect us from them. However, the SIG gets undercut by these DP fliers and has finally given up. I thank JI and his group for beating their heads against the wall for all these years but maybe it's time for the SIG to close up shop and let the company and the optimizer to just run wild. Why waste their time and union $$$. Maybe things will get so bad that we have to call in fatigued (probably never happen) or just pi$$-off enough people so that in 2010 FE and the NC will be able to make significant improvements to the workrules. We've been fighting this battle for years with no success. Why waste any more effort.
