Anyone have a feel for how many crews per month they plan to train on the 75, 300, and the -11? Do you think they are going to up the number of crews per month from what's currently in the training letter or just string it out? They used to publish how many crews/month/aircraft so you have some kind of feel for when your training might be.

The DC 10 guys won't train for awhile. It sounds to me that the remaining 10's will stay until peak and disappear at one time. They can't get rid of crews until they get rid of the planes.

So this training letter will stretch a long time also.

So if the DC10 guys are "Excessed" as opposed to "Relieve Excessed" then they go to training last anyway. And those on the other aircraft who bid to relieve the excess will go to training first. Is that correct?

OK, whoever you are. What did you do with the real Yoda? You can't be him, because if you were, you'd have asked your question like this: So if the dc10 guys are "Excessed" As opposed to "Relieve excessed" Then to training last anyway they go. And go to training first, those on the other aircraft who bid to relieve the excess will. Is that correct, hmm?

My take: Bidding to relieve excess and normal vacancies would be filled in seniority order for the "new" seat. Otherwise passover pay becomes an issue. So it all depends who your competition is in your new seat when you go to training. Being excessed you go to training in reverse seniority order from the "old" seat.
