Well, on the 3rd week from the interview with no word yet, hopefully that means more pilot hiring. Now if the contract could get settled.....

Good luck to you. It isn't uncommon to have to wait eons to hear back from H.R. A friend of mine's paperwork got lost following his interview, and only a followup call brought it to their attention in the first place. He's now a 727 first officer

Thanks for the words of encouragement Fr Capt. I was told I should hear within 4 weeks. Hopefully all of the paperwork is in order.

Yeah, my friend waited for 5 plus weeks before deciding that it was time to call H.R.

The 747 freighters will be -400 conversions. Rumor has it that we could be getting up to 20 of 'em.

I believe he got neither. So after waiting 5 weeks he decided to call, and that's when he discovered his paperwork in the H.R. offices had gone AWOL.

I got the call for the medical the day before the letter arrived. If they hated you the rejection letter would have arrived by now. Waiting sucks but UPS will be the best job in aviation after the contract gets signed.

Three weeks after my interview to get the pool letter. Then sitting in the pool for 6+ months before getting the call for a class. One guy in my new hire class sat for 9 months. Goes quick though.
