Fdx-mac
I'm sitting in Nartia and can't get onto the company website with Safari or Firefox. Only MS internet explorer will work, but real slow.
Is this just something here or our we MAC people out? Just wondering. |
I was there a few days ago Safari and Firefox worked.

I was in NRT a week or so ago and the company wouldn't come up either, woke up a few hours later and it worked fine... not sure what the deal was, I was too tired to mess with it so I can't say for sure what magically fixed it.
maybe it's a mac and fixed itself... unlike other computers that just get worse! |
This all I get with Safari or Firefox:
Domain Name cannot be resolved. Error : The domain name you have requested cannot be resolved. Links : Timer Window Hotel Portal Page MS IE just doesn't work very well. I'll try again in a few days when I get back here. |

Hey Dan, I got that same error on some other sites I was trying to link to, photography sites (not nekkid ones) and never did resolve it until I got back to 'Merica where it all magically cleard up and the sites started working again. in short.. no clue pal. |
It sounds like it may have something to do with the DNS servers you were accessing. You might try OpenDNS as an alternative. Just a suggestion. Good luck.

It must be an Inter-touch thing. I'm getting the same thing here in Shanghai.

Make sure that the "www. " is in front of the address you are trying to view. Seems that outside of the US this is required on Safari for some sites. In the States, Safari will put it in automatically.

Snow Leopard!
CAUTION: Thread creep
Just installed Snow Leopard on both my iMac and MacBook Air. No problems with any of the FDX website stuff (even the expense report pull-downs seem to work OK). "Surfing" seems faster, boots faster ... I like it (even paid full retail price for this very inexpensive upgrade), recommend it for all you with Mac (Intel based) computers. Mark |
