This could be interesting. I wonder if the current China to Clark to China routes will become cabotage and require Yangtzee River Express or some other Chinese carrier to fly them.

My understanding of yesterday's IPNN stated that CRK would have its flights decreased dramatically. So, maybe this might not be an issue. At today's GMM, BT stated that network issues are being monitored by the IPA. What I gathered at the meeting was that no one really knows yet how aircraft and volume will be routed, as this is still too far into the future.

They already do don't they? Everytime I've been to Clark there's been a white/green Yangtzee River 737 parked over there.

What did you think of the eTriptrader that was presented?

eTriptrader is by far the most successful attempt at giving a pilot all he needs to improve and monitor his schedule. At my previous employer we used 2 different programs and they both were far inferior to eT. The others were obviously not made by pilots.

I've seen the eTrip trader in action at UAL and think it is great. I really hope we can get a version here.

I should hae been more specific in my earlier post. I meant to ask will the current China-CRK-China routes become cabotage when Clark closes and those routes then become China-Shenzen-China. Example; Bejing-CRK-Shanghai is not a cabotage route but may become a cabotage issue if rerouted Bejing-Shenzhen-Shanghai. In any case, I'm glad I don't own a bar in Angeles City!

The answer to that would be yes, cabotage.

I think that eTrader could be a valuable asset for us. Not only for the ease and tools for use in trip trading, but the instant notification if trades, AS WELL AS RESKEDS, are legal. Just think at Peak when weather has hit, you're delayed, and now rescheduled, but you are too tired to remember the contract. This will tell you instantly if what they are doing is leagl or not. That's what I like.

As for the cabotage routes, it will be interesting to see how they reroute, if any, routes. I'm not even going to guess as what will happen. Now I understand what you meant, say that again, and yours is a legitimate question and one that we need to watch closely.
