Has anyone heard anything lately on how the company is going to solve the HKG staffing problem?

No, but I have heard that the (best we can get) LOA (version 3.91 service pack 2) should be out this week. Just like practice bid 2 or is it 3?

Right now they're mixing the SFS FO lines with HKG CAP lines. That solves the FO shortage until SFS closes. Then it's STV until March 2010. After that I guess they'll have to hire into the base.

With our MEC's continued complicity, it will always be a beta XX until the company wants to upgrade/downgrade to the next beta xx +/-1

Should be easy to fill. Just take anyone from the 15% or so of FOs that bid in favor of the LOA.


But maybe that's why STV was included in the LOA....

Exactly....This is a success story. The LOA came out with cheers and applause from the MEC. Nothing could be better. Haven't heard any news from the MEC or block reps (Other than Albie) that indicate there is a problem with our (their?) LOA or our manning of it.

Why are we renegotiating the LOA? It passed, didn't it?

Remember......that was ALL they could get out of the company. They had squeezed the turnip dry for us. If we could only see the Union's openers! No wait....they didn't have any. Thank you sir, may I have another!!!!
