FDX Discounts
Do any of the FDX's know what discounts we get and what dealerships(readily know us and don't hassle us) for new/used cars in the greater planet area?

The "official" discounts can be found inside the FedEx firewall (at a FedEx computer) at http://home.fedex.com Click the upper right side to "Portal" enter your employee number and password to get on the site. Then click the "Life" section. Then "Discounts"
As far as automobiles go, pretty much all major manufactures have nice discounts, but for new, dealer inventory only.

We do get a GM discount but many of the Memphopolitan dealers won't honor it, especially on desirable models. Also, when I bought my Chevy pickup, the dealer did better than the FDX price with all the incentives available to them.

I used the Ford S plan to buy a couple of Mazdas over the years here in Mem. The discount is in addition to any dealer incentives. A good way to get a good price on a new car without the usual car salesman BS.

Dobbs Ford on Mt. Moriah knows all about the Ford X-plan and FedEx. No hassles at all and they won't try to sneak anything in. The X-plan says you have to buy from dealer inventory, but they ordered what I wanted for inventory then sold it to me on the X-plan.
