new excess fcif from PC is out.
excerpt-
The next posting (08-03) will open on June 10th and close on June 25th. If Posting 08-03 were based on practice bid #3, the posting would excess as many as 40 Captains and 70 First Officers from the MD and 40 Captains and 40 First officers from the Airbus.
thanks again dw. was it still "the right thing to do?"
yes jj, i am still blaming dw.

There was some guidance, unfortunately not the type pilots like to read:
No plans on hiring until Fall, 2010
As for the over 60 crowd, I am of the opinion that this is the best contract to retire under. It is amendable when? Fall 2010?
Maybe a coincidence?
Sorry for everyone in the pool.

Kick in the Jimmy
Thanks again to FH and all the NDs.
I'd like to propose a new moniker. I think FIIGMOs is more appropriate. For those not in the know that means F#@& It, I Got My Orders (or in this case...I Got Mine).

i do my best to give u guys a headsup!....i will lose some seniority on this thing but will suck it up...i have been riding the wave up for almost 14 years and this is the first real downturn....and yes it is all foxhunters fault and these guys who can't hang it up...already heard of an over 60 cpt who fell asleep on climbout at 2 PM!
2. As for sleeping in the cockpit, my previous carrier had the "two communication rule": if you tell someone something twice and they do not respond, you are to assume that they are medically incapacitated and act accordingly.
Maybe the ND will wake up to the sound of me declaring an emergency and diverting to the nearest available airport....
