Default fdx excess

So if bid 08-03 excesses around 150 from the MD and Airbus where do they go? To the Boeing? Then what, another Boeing excess? Where does it end with 600 727 FE's?

Anybody understand why we excessed from the Back of the Boeing? Just to give the over 60 guys a chance to move?

Side note it sounds like everyone under 4000 seniority should bid HKG Capt.

Yes, we end up with 600 Boeing FE's.
Yes, so any senior FE's could bid out.
Yes, bid HKG or sit in MEM and never work.

So we have excess bids until we get fat in the most junior position? Are we not already fat in the most jr. position, the 727 S/O seat? Are we not as we speak having an excess bid from that position. This is crazy.

Fedex is doomed. This seems like a move that UAL management would do, not fedex.

I second what BusDawg said. This situation sucks but FDX=UAL? Uh, no.

[QUOTE=viperdriver;396916]So if bid 08-03 excesses around 150 from the MD and Airbus where do they go? QUOTE]

No where, I think...just looking at the MD11 in the last practice bid over 200 guys have to go to training first before they can start training for the next excess bid (08-03). Current MD11 training letter goes to Jan 09 with about 20 guys training a month, so that puts the first class from 08-03 to start in Nov 09. By then, the 777 bid will have superseded all of this (I hope). SG
