Default Rename APC to Fedex Forums

Don't Fedex pilots have their private/internal website to talk about their bids and pairings and all their other internal BS? Just wondering why the whole front page of the cargo forum is covered by FDX...even Great Lakes pilots have their own site...

We like to make it easier for management to track all of us in one open location. Sorry for the inconvenience.

DrProc,

Nothing is keeping other cargo pilot groups from posting here, it just happens that a lot of FedEx pilots like to hang out on this forum. That there are almost 5,000 of them partly explains their dominant presence.

Their conversations might not be interesting to you, but they're definitely value-added to other cargo groups like Gemini, UPS, Atlas, etc, as well as to pilots whose career sights are set on the purple and orange...

At one point Fedex guys had their own sub forum under cargo. APC admin saw fit to dispose of it. We didn't like it but we don't run the place.

What's the big deal? I think it's great to know the issues and problems oher pilots are facing, don't you? Or do you belong to the "it's all about mee mee" > 60 generation?

cause were just cargooooh freight dogs, not like the real airline pilots that fly real people
Purple, Brown, Mustard, Blue, don't matter. All in the same biz of aerial truckin'.The purple ones do a good job of labeling. I learn what our managements are doing at the other places, so it keeps the SA up.

As a former freightdog, I agree with you guys that you have the right to post what you would like in this forum. Some of the posts are very informative to pilots at other carriers, while some have no meaning to other pilot groups. I started this thread because I just can't believe that Fedex pilots don't have their own private website, as most pilot groups do...

Setting up a website would take more effort than voting for our block reps. You don't really think anyone would be willing to do that, do you?
