APC - new server?

from the moderators:

On June 11th, the APC forum and web site were migrated to a new web server. This move will provide better stability and more bandwidth for the community.

Has anyone but me experienced a DECREASE in stability and much slower than normal data transfer from this "new server"?

just curious.

I agree. It is much slower and less stable. Some times, I just give up and come back later.

Same here. Not as bad the past couple days, but it has been awfuly slow at times. Stability is taking a hit to, it has been doing some weird stuff as well.

HSLD and Freight Dog are aware of these issues and are trying to address them. Please continue to provide feedback on the forum's performance. Thanks!

Mods/APC Founders -

First....thanks for running a GREAT website/forum!

Second...there's been a serious degredation in the speed of the server. Operations that use to take less than a second, prior to the upgrade, now take 20-30 seconds PLUS.:(

I've checked my PC performance and my internet connection --- no problems elsewhere.

Right now --- I'm having a serious 1990s, dial-up, flashback --- yikes!

Once again, thanks for running a great website. Hopefully, you guys can identify what's causing the big difference.

A'o Aloha

This is an outrage!!!

I'm going to stop paying my dues.
