FDX FOX, Dev Bank, and cnx trips

Had a trip next week that had a $1000 deviation bank that I was removed from due to equipment change. I get to keep the bank. Anyone worked with the FOX system in this scenario. Will it be a pain to get the dev bank kept or does the system work in this case. Something tells me I'm going to have to submit several things before it's all over.

I've had this happen and I had no problem. The ticket showed up in Fox and was treated like any other deadhead. Maybe I was lucky.... I hope you are too......

Agree...had this happen with regards to substitution too...no problems getting/keeping the dev bank.

Have had it happen several times since the Fox system came into place.

Have not had any problems. It worked fine. No extra submissions or explanations required.

Thx for the info.

I'm having a problem with my deviation bank under a similar but slightly different scenario. My trip had a mid-trip D/H that I deviated on. I used the bank to commute into mem for my trip. Just prior to show time the trip was revised cnx the D/H but adding a different deadhead mid-trip that i had to fly as scheduled. Fox is denying my bank for the cnx D/H. They say I can't have both D/H $s for the same trip. I cited the contract passage 8.c.2.a that any cnx/revised D/H $ by the company remain with the crewmember, but to no effect. Right now my ACP is trying to resolve the issue, but it looks like I'm out several hundred dollars that I used. Hope that was understandable.

My understanding from years past is that you get the higher of the two deadheads in your case, boxhauler.

While we're drifting off a bit toward other deviation issues.......

I know we've discussed this before. Could someone give me some recent experience with the Fox system and scheduled DH costs that exceed the accepted fares?

A couple of my DH tickets for July have arrived from Global travel and they're 200-300 over the accepted fares. When I deviate, is FOX going to revert to the accepted fare? If so, have you been able to put in a discrepancy and get it corrected to the actual?

Thanks.

Revert to accepted fare.
No correction will be done, even if a ticket was purchased.
No soup for you.

X pairing I am on, accepted fare $2200, ticket bought same day as X pairing, actual ticket $2400. Splain that one to me Lucy. Must not really be an accepted fare. But the Union does not want to fight this battle apparently. Appears that the only one that accepts these fares in FedEx, not the airlines.

Fox does deviate to accepted fare. Talk to my ACP and he said that the accepted fare is what you get for your bank. They would not change it to the actual cost. Hope that helps. At least thats what happen to me.
