Yeah, that's what I was thinking...

Personally I try to rotate fast enough to get the “You Are Airborne Now” message on the EICAS – you know, the message that says “tailstrike.”

How about we start a new thread "WWMD" (What would MAWK90 do?) whenever we have an aviation related question? Maybe we could combine it with the "WWFHD" (What would FoxHunter do?) aviation thread? Just in case we ever have a motor that "pops," at least we'll have enough "smash."

Maybe it could be next to the social thread WWMD (What would Matt do?)

That's ludicrous! I guarantee you that Matt would just yank it off!!

I would be very interested to load the parameters of this flight - Bogata, temps, TOW, and time - into a sim and see what the results would be. I know there is insufficient data now but I imagine people would be hard-pressed to replicate the success of this crew. Does anyone who flies a whale practice multiple engine failures in the sim at MGTOW and high elevation airports?

I have not. Usually your three engine missed turns into your two engine approach with the second engine failing on the missed approach power application.

If you want to talk about SINGLE engine failures, followed by a second engine failure after reaching say.... 3000ft AGL, this is common practice in the sim. But not at high elevation airfields. I don't believe the sim instructors will dump the second engine (in the sim) until the gross weight of the aircraft is below 700K or so. But this varies from company to company. I'm not sure what CK does.

Remember when RD used to give like a zillion failures at once?

What a jag-off
