Just for discussion purposes ... "If" I were considering a HKG vacancy, why would I want to get my family excited about the possibility of going there when the last 3 bids have all been canceled?

Future Bids
Upon completion of the manning evaluation currently underway, it's
possible that another realignment (excess) bid could occur this summer.
It is anticipated that the first bid for 777 crews will be posted in
October 2008. Given our current staffing levels, it is unlikely that we
will be hiring in the foreseeable future.

I'll bet we get more than a dozen. Times are tough...and riding the panel for many years OR having some adventures on widebody pay might give some guys pause. The LOA has its shortfalls...I'm not here to defend it. But on the other under, I'm betting we get another dozen dudes...
