So I think you're talking about 379CX. It has actually been doing 2 or 3 segments a day, 4 or 5 days per week. They are usually segments under 2 hours, though (including a few SJU-SDQ segments of about 40 minutes), so the aircraft is spending a lot of time on the ground in MIA and I can see why it might appear that it's not flying, but it is. Some, anyway. Here's a link to its recent history on Flightaware: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/N379CX (You can see 14 days if you have a free registration.)

Second 767 for MIA (3rd in the fleet) is expected to be online in Miami by the end of the month. JCBA has been TA’d. Union informational meetings are scheduled for the end of the month. Nobody has heard what the 767 pay scales or work rules are yet.

Aloha just hired a class of 4, but that will be the last class of hiring that Aloha does. All future hiring will go through NAC. TA will be voted on soon, if it is ratified, well then there really is no Aloha any more. All pilots will be merged to one seniority list the day after new contract is signed. Planes will still say Aloha Air Cargo but that will just be a brand. By first Q of 2019 all pilots will have completed transition training and be on the NAC certificate.
The upgrade requirements for NAC are FAA min. see FAR 121.436
Keep in mind, going forward NAC will have a 737 base in HNL, ANC and possibly LRD. My guess , HNL will be the senior base, so doubt a new hire would get it. But who knows, if there are a bunch of mainland pilots in the class and they don't want to move to HI , then maybe you could get it.
Main point, the old days of getting hired at Aloha Cargo and guaranteed to be based in HNL are over.
