Is there a possibility of people based in HNL (from Aloha) being placed in another base after the merge? Or are they guaranteed to stay in HNL?

When I said the Aloha 767, I meant the one that's painted in the Aloha Air Cargo livery. Technically, it's not a wet lease. It's a dry lease with a separate, temporary, CMI agreement with ATI until such time as NAC gets its ETOPS certification. However, I appreciate your clarification that the aircraft is on the NAC certificate rather than the Aloha one.

Are there any 767 pilots on here that can give a summary of the training with NAC?

That being said, the answer to your question depends on what you mean. If you are a HNL based 737 and want to stay on the 737 in HNL, you will have no worries of being displaced. The HNL flying is not going anywhere and there are always FOs moving on, so once you are in the base, you would stay there. But if you got hired and eventually got on the 767 based in HNL. The company could decide to change the 767 base to LAX or SEA or some other place. In that case, you would have displacement rights, which are basically you can bid for whatever your current seniority can hold. You could even bid to the 737 in HNL. The merge has no effect on your base. We have one seniority list. |

it is a NAC 767, because Aloha does not have any 767s on their certificate and never will. the N-number is listed in the NAC op-specs. As I said before, Aloha Air Cargo is a brand name. The other 767s are painted one in NAC livery and one in StratAir livery. StratAir is not even an airline, they are just a freight forwarding company. But Salt Chuk owns them too. |

Everything else you say is correct. The StratAir plane is a flying billboard for StratAir, and is leased by and operated by NAC. |
Does anyone have any information on the next 767 Miami class dates? I have applied but haven't heard anything and wondering when the next class date is scheduled.

The 767 training was stopped for a short period to take care of some problems with the training program. Pilots that are currently waiting for 767 training will start up again in Oct, maybe that is what you heard. |
