FDX Vacation bidding a buy up line?

If I bid a "buy up line" at 68 hrs, and use my vacation to knock out all 64 hrs worth of trips, what will be deducted from my vacation bank? 64 or 68?

64 hours will be deducted and you will be paid 68.

Vacation Bank deficits are charged the value of the conflicted trip or trips ( including R days), not the value of the awarded line (a Bought up or otherwise)

Your bank will be docked 64 hours if in this case that is the value a single trip which is the entire line.

So both of the guys above are correct, but to clarify...

Your pay summary for the month will show AVL VAC pay of 64 and BLK ADJ PAY of 4 for a grand total of 68.
You get that BLK ADJ PAY when awarded the line and nothing that I know of will knock it out. You keep the buy up amount whether you drop all your trips or knock them out with vacation.

Not a bad deal at all!
