Fed Ex- New Parka
Anyone else been over to check out the new winter parka? I was pretty impressed...nice jacket (Northface) and hood combo.... Can we wear this thing system wide? I heard that there was an FCIF about it, but I'm too busy watching tv and resting up for my A reserve to look for it.
(Sorry, but its kind of quiet around here...:D) |

(Sorry, but its kind of quiet around here...:D) Is it a nice waterproof shell and separate liner; not like the worthless liner in the leather jacket. The leather is too much for ANC in September and not enough by the time November rolls around. It doesn't look like the George Costanza puffy jacket does it? |

Looks like something 'Snoop Dog' would be wearing. Anyone bidding lines where you 'need' one of these is NOT senior enough !

Here's what the website said about it:
The Parka is the same design as the Mountain Jacket, but with a fixed hood and thicker pile. Ideal for polar exploration*, indeed it was first made for use in Antarctica with the British Antarctic Survey. It is too warm for most activities in normal UK Winter conditions. Best suited for inactive use where body heat is not being produced by any exercise. 1190g. WARNING: Buffalo is NOT waterproof! *Polar exploration? Do walkarounds in MEM count? |
