I just got an email from HR at ABXAir saying they were no longer interested in hiring me (I was in a pool for a domestic slot from back in Dec. when I turned down a 767 slot in Osaka) due to recent decisions by DHL management. Wow, I'm soooo surprised, I never expected this...obviously, I'm just kidding, but it does make me feel bad for all the junior folks at ABX, my heart goes out to you folks, best of luck.

As ClearLeft said, it ain't over yet, but...

when/if DHL bails/fails, company indicates that 75% of the pilot group will be gone. So the most "junior folks" remaining will be in their 19th year by my reckoning.

It's been fun! I'm still debating whether to open a doughnut shop or become a "freegan".

Being a Freegan is highly overrated. I would go with the doughnut shoppe. (The extra p & e will allow you to charge $.15 more per doughnut.)

Seriously, we all hope for the best of luck for all of you with this situation.
