NCA contract work
I read the post about hiring on with Hawaii air service to fly for NCA out of JFK, AMS and SFO but can anyone tell me how secure these contracts are and what can be expected for upgrade time. There is no mention of pay for CA but the FO rate seemed decent?? I have read most of the posts about contract work so mostly intereted in just the above type of info. If TACAMO reads this please say hi to Stefan next chance you get. He moved into my house in HNL. Thanks

Below is summary as of March'06. If anyone can shed some light on this operation it would be appreciated.
Hawaii Aviation Contract Services (HACS)
B-747 First Officer Assignment
Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA)
1. AIRLINE: Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA)
2. BASE: AMS, JFK, SFO
3. TERM: 3.5 years for B-747 qualified
Crewmembers (5 months training
3.8 years for non qualified
Crewmembers (7 months training
4. SALARY: US $ 7,586.20 per month
US $ 6,069.96 per month paid while in training
5. BLOCK HOURS: 65 hours per month
6. PREMIUM PAY RATE: US $ 116.71 per hour (over 65 hrs)
7. COMMUTING ALLOWANCE: By flying - US $300.00 (to and from base) By driving - US $50.00
8. PER DIEM: Varies with destination
9. CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS: $ 7,200.00
10. PENSION PLAN: HACS contributes additional 14.8% of basic pay into individual, self directed pension accounts.
11. DAYS OFF: 10 days free of duty per month, at
least 8 days will be consecutive.
12. VACATION: 24 days per year. Allocated in 2
equal periods per year.
13. SICK LEAVE: Accrue 1 day per 2 months, 12 days max per year.
14. HEALTH INSURANCE: Medical and Dental coverage for
crewmembers and eligible
dependants.

Hi all!
I would like to know more about NCA as well, would any kind souls out there care to enlighten me?
What will happen to the guys and gals who sign up on the B742 when the aircraft is phased out, will they be offered jobs on the B744 then?
Any chance of joining directly onto the B744?
Are the salary quoted after-tax?
