UPS - ONT displacement?
Just heard there might be another 20 guys/gals getting displaced from ONT - don't know if they're all FOs or captains or both - which I guess would make most sense.
A friend talked to someone in crew planning I believe and that's where he heard the rumor... Has anyone else heard this too?
While I am at it - IF I decide that I want to get displaced to ANC out of seniority whom do I talk to? Is it even possible to be displaced out of seniority?

I would THINK it would be a simple matter of making ANC FO your first choice in your system bid.
But I don't know for sure ... FWIW.
I don't know why UPS would care if the top 10 FOs leave ONT or the bottom 10 leave ... as long as they move 10 bodies, what is the difference ? We're all just numbers anyway !
I would now encourage you to remain in ONT until the bitter end ! ANC is cold, dark, and it rained every day for 3 weeks while I was in training up there. You staying in SoCal is much better for the soul ... and my seniority in ANC !

On a straight displacement bid, if you are at the bottom, you get displaced, period. No one can volunteer to be displaced, thats not how it works.
I hope this rumor about 20 displacements from ONT is wrong. If this kind of crap keeps up, which it probably will, we need to fight very hard to get some recall rights around here!
