FDX: Open Time
 

Can someone please explain to me why it is necessary to have open time released when it is?

If you live on the east coast as a S/O, the fun begins at 0100 EDT and here I am with outstanding trip trades at 0346 still trying to swap trips.

The kids are up in 3 hours.

As if my sleep schedule wasn't goofed up enough.

Is this necessary? Why not start the widebody CA's at 1200 Planet time and go downhill (I know its a long way) from there? Anyone on a hub turn trip can still get a few hours sleep and those of us with some time off don't have to deal with this.

Yes, you guessed it: I am a whining pilot. The TSA would take my wings away if I didn't complain. I suppose I should be more concerned about something more sinister like furloughs and such.

It's the place where all the airport standbys are listed. You guys mean there's something else besides s777, s778, or s555 out there? Lies!

Nothing in Open Time and I am still getting the dreaded "DISAPPROVED due to insufficient reserves" when trying to drop a 10hr trip! YGTBSM! :mad:
