If you pick up trips out of open time, they do not count towards leveling.

M/U trips are not leveled.

Here's a question for someone brighter than me....(most people). If you put in for general M/U instead of picking through the open time, will you be assigned that trip first before any of the guys grabbing up open time??

I swear I saw a trip open and I put in for that bit** ASAP this morning. Earlier timestamp!! ***!!

I've yet to see Bambi with an AK-47, so I'll leave the hunting stuff to someone else.

That's just because your deer are wimps. The real deer are in the South.

They need all of that gear, because the are pygmy deer compared to CO and other places out west!

General Make-up applies after the assignment window opens at 1000L MEM time. Those requests are taken into consideration for unfilled trips (trips not requested for make-up) before reserves are assigned... That's how I have it explained to me by CRS when I was on reserve (R-24) and was trying to see where I stood in the order to get called . They said General Make-up would take trips before I would get assigned.

So.... if someone puts in for a M/U trip before 1000L... It will never make it to the General Make-Up time.

Clear as mud??

No kidding! The other day, 3 deer were seen here in Connecticut, carrying a brand new Hummer off into the woods. I guess that's what meant by getting a hummer.

I agree. "Give me that trip" trumps "give me a trip." And as mentioned, trip-specific make-up is treated like a trip trade, and acted on at any time, as opposed to during the daily assignment process.
