Default FedEx/UPS Cargo

Hello...

I’m developing a startup air cargo contracting service. I'll probably have two small freighters to start with. Does anyone know the procedures for submitting as an independent contractor with UPS or FedEx? I have been told that the process is cumbersome but possible. Any feedback would be appreciated…

Just to clarify...do you want to be a feeder operator for FedEx or UPS? If that is the case, FedEx owns all of the C-208's, and contracts out the pilots. I am not sure how to get involved with that.

I know on the west coast, Ameriflight, I think, is the primary "feeder" airline for UPS. Any UPS guys want to comment?

If you want to compete with either UPS or FedEx, not only are you on the wrong board, but you will need a lot of capital, and a lot of luck.

If you want to be a millionaire in the airline industry, start with a billion dollars and open an airline.
