727 qual check fedex

Who gets bumped for a 727 initial qual check for a Captain? Does the LCA fly from the FO seat or the jumpseat?

Depends on which Capt check it is.
They do one with the LCA, and a validation check with a regular FO.

At times it seems like the only open time I see is the result of an FO dropping a line check of some sort

verbiage is in the trip summary.

the last check is called an activation check----kind of like an LCA validation check.

LCA's name "conduct capt activation ck" Upgrading Capt's name
