i would support anything that allows me to get anywhere near the amount of rest that you should normally get. sometime i would like to see the rule makers fly around with those they are making the rules for.

They should aim at the 16 hour duty day (7.5 hour block) with the 8 hr rest that the regional guys fly. That's what needs to be fixed.

and who wants to lay over 48 hours in India.? Yechh. Your nose hairs (not to mention lungs) will never be the same.

This is the line to which I was refering.

AMR Corp.'s American Airlines and Continental Airlines Inc. between the U.S. and India.

Only old geezers and near deads can hold sydney.

Then they complain about the charters coming into open time and how their arthritic fingers aren't fast enough to trade into them.

But I don't hear them complaining about their massive carry over lines and sweet CIC opportunities.

Me, Me, Me....

Something tells me that will only be for the flag carriers.
The supp guys rules will remain unchanged.

We (Fedex) will be going to flag ops because of the 777 flying.

I've heard we will be doing ulta long range and that we will be going to flag ops.

But I have also heard EFBs were coming to the 727, we will be issued laptop computers, foreign pilots were going to steal our flying and Elvis lives.
