FDX Hkg Siba Dec
Scheduling just added 10 Capt pairings for Airbus Siba in Dec in open time. They are all one week of hotel stby's in Subic. Kind of nice though, 5 days of hotel stby for 83 hrs credit.
Has anyone heard any rumors, ie did they screw up the hkg bid pack, or lose 5 capts over there? Or maybe business is just rapidly picking up.

Well this finally proves the SIBA verse STV question. It takes almost 4 SIBA guys to get the same work out of one STV guy in a 5 week month.

Do you normally have five crews in SFS on hotel stby all at the same time?
take a look at mem 300 ca open time for dec 18 and 25. All of the stbys are during xmas week, and the week after, and the crews are on stby staggered by 30 minutes.

As far as I know, when the base was open normally, there were almost never any hotel stdbys. Occasionally, the ONE guy awarded the r24 line would every once in a while be assigned hotel stdby. But that's it.
I'm guessing it's due in large part to the colossal CAN f-up, as well as tons of Subic guys dumping 7 R days as well as trips for the contractual paid relocation days.
