Just vote "NO". This will be a contract for the old guys and not the young ones. But, if the A-plan is too heavy it will get voted down. There are over 1000 people who stand to gain significantly in retro and salary if they push the FO slope. Also, UPS has to offer a better A-plan. The EB can cry all they want, but UPS may just say &%^$@#!#$%^ you.

2750 on the seniority list as of bid packet 06-03, figure 150 on probation ie: unable to vote, so 2600 voting, 51% is 1326 bodies that the company has to buy out to get ratification. Don't think they don't know this.
Take a close look at the demographics of the pilot group and see who has the bigger dog in the fight. A-plan vs F/O pay restoration, it doesn't matter as long as the company gets their 1326. Food for thought. ISFS, TB |

I have heard this rumor for two months and it seems to have some validity. I hope the EB understands that any TA that includes enhanced retirement for those who have already made the decision to bail out, and are no longer paying dues or risking anything by us striking, means that we are giving up something else(FO scale, scheduling or scope) and will result in a resounding no vote by the rank and file.

I agree with you. They seem to rationalize it by saying that there aren't that many of those guys. They are doing it and for the life of me I don't get it.
