FDX Capacities of International Hubs, particularly Guangzhou
To all who may be able to help,
My son is researching FedEx hub operations for his MBA and is looking for information on the capacities of the international hubs. He already has it for the domestic hubs.
Specifically he is looking for average number of packages per day, square footage of the sorting facility, number of flights, and number of markets served from Paris, Subic Bay, Toronto?, and the new hub in Guangzhou.
Anyone know where this information can be found?
Thanks for any help.

If you're a FedEx pilot, I'd start with your ACP. If you're not a FedEx pilot, than I'm not sure any of us should be supplying you with this type of information, because it might be either proprietary at worst or privileged information at best.

What isn't proprietary is the latest Fedex Express 10K S.E.C. filing. Also, you might Google the Fedex press releases concerning the Guangzhou opening. There's a lot info available about this kind of info on the web.

FedEx Updates Schedule For Asia-Pacific Hub In Guangzhou - China Sourcing News

and maybe a little here:

There are many more fact sheets on the fedex.com website. Plus, there there is an "information request" button to get in touch with someone that would probably be able to provide more consolidated info...

Why start there? Why would you think any of them would have any idea? I'm not sure they even knew the hub opening would be delayed? If they knew, they never bothered to share the info with us ... what's up with that? We had to find out on the Internet after the December bids (with included CAN BTW) closed?

I always love these. "I am (or insert family member here) researching FedEx. Can somebody do the work for me (or him/her)?"
Somebody working on their MBA should (although with our coddled-society anything is possible) be able to call a company, arrange a tour/interview/whatever, go through public press releases, and gather intel all on their own. My humbled opinion only.

Now you're going to ruin it ... I'd hoped to have the APC crew write my entire Master's Thesis for me
