Default FDX-Hkg siba pairing goes "poof"

Trip just got cnx and put into sub. Kinda figured this was gonna happen since it had been revised 3 times since bid close. Just wanted to hear from ya'll regarding what to expect/watch out for from crew sked while I dig out my contract and start reading. Specifics: 77cr-12days. 13K bank. starts 26dec.
thanks for your help..

On a different but related subject ... I have a 68 hour trip on my VTO line this month that is scheduled to go through CAN (with a layover there). Was there an FCIF saying to expect such trips to be revised? Well, it's been revised several times already but the CAN leg/layover is still there? I wonder what's up with that?

Here is what I would do.

Bid next month to conflict with the carry over trip, thus getting some CIC make up time.

After bid award go into VIPS and decline SUB before a trip is even offered. Sub window is now gone and first week of Jan is now open and you have some good CIC hours.

Now during the view add window select a sweet trip that starts the first one or two days of the bid month and work the first week of the month. Other CIC people will now be able to grab these since they are in CIC due to already working those days.

Pick up another trip in the end of December or in the next two months with you OTP at 125%. Also if and when the sweet trip comes in you get it right away with OTP no such thing as an earlier time stamp.

If you bid reserve in Jan you will be leveled for the carryover sub hours even if you have declined sub.

Your potential for nice trips in Jan is very high. You might need to budget your money because if you do not make up the OTP you will be getting a very small paycheck in two months.

I would guess that a lot of the SIBA Asia trips will be revised. Mr. OR sent an email out....dont know if it was only to the SFS guys....that stated .....I will continue to draw down the pilot population of SFS IAW the current training and relocation/activation plan. The SFS domicile will close when the last crewmember leaves SFS. Until that time, the remaining SFS pilots will continue to bid (monthly SFS bid pack) and operate trips in support of APAC operations.

The base is not closing in Dec as previously stated. SFS will have a bidpack, from what I hear, in Jan and maybe beyond. I suppose that people here will elect to stay longer if possible. This would affect the need for some SIBA trips out here. So, when the last SFS pilot leaves, the base will be closed. That gives the Company a little more flexibility.

The word from the locals is that we could still be operating out of SFS for 2, 4, or 6 more months. That is from the local Philippine "FCIF" rumor mill.

Stand by to stand by....I also had a trip....poof, sub, then I got re-assigned another trip. All this occurred fairly quickly, so I would expect to see something reappear next week. If you live in Memphis, I would decline and OTP it, but as you already know, there is nothing in open time.

Anyway, good luck.
