I don't at all disagree with your assessment. In fact I've been saying mostly the same thing for a long time now. The key, of course, is having ones retirement maxed out. The problem is that there are a lot of older guys who don't have that done yet. So should they just bite the bullet and retire, so that the more junior guys can move up and eventually get their full retirement? See, I've been differentiating between an older, more senior guy, with 25 or more years with the company, and an older, less senior guy with less than 25 years with the company. Once a guy gets his 25 years in, that should be enough. Until then, he should be allowed to stay, until the mandatory retirement age, or until he gets his 25, or if there is no seat that he is able to hold (medical, etc), then he should retire.

Ah...the UPS equivalent of Chat! Anybody know what chat means in French? We have another guy, FH, who trots out pictures of horses (pun intended) and shows an X-ray of some guy's busted up shoulder. Kinda weird, don't a think?
