FDX - Where are the STBYs
Is it a computer glitch, or is this intentional. There doesn't seem to be any airport standby periods listed in open time for any aircraft/positions. Anyone know anything??

Peak is over, plenty or Reserves? Maybe? Cause we're SOOOOOO overmanned? I frequently get called in for ASTBY on Reserve ...
Or ... it's part of the MASTER PLAN to help keep BLG low? If you can't even pick up an Airport Standby maybe you'll vote for the 777 LOA?

Just spoke with scheduler....she said "Standbys are gone...we will assign them daily on a case by case basis...we don't want anyone sitting around if we don't need them."

I saw that all month in December. I was on RSV (R24) and had close to 90 hours of leveling for the bid. Undermanned? I think not.

This is very interesting....ASBYs to be given only to the Reservists (or whom they deem)....on "good weather days" they will not need anyone and on "bad weather days" they will have seven or eight.
Better flexibility?
It **might** look better to the powers that be at HQ....no one sitting around, doing nothing, collecting pay.
