So, where's the trips? Makes me think about cross referencing with bidX to see if they are hiding something......hmmm

Or perhaps everybody is snatching OT up at straight pay for fear of lowered BLG's. Company wins, lower BLG's and we work on days off to make it up.

Went fast didn't it? All 7 or 8 trips.

None left in LAX MD FO, gone in less than 90 minutes.

No trips found.

First time I've ever seen that message. Usually there are at least a few airport standbys.

All Bus gone except 1 STBY and a PM trip for tomorrow??

Funny thing is, every single trip, last night and today, has been MD10. I didn't see one MD11 trip.

From this month's SIG notes:

Airbus:

"There are 10 Asia pairings for Captains that will appear in open time."

MD-11:

"Trips 2040/08JAN09 and 2051/28JAN09 are going to be revised due to a gateway city violation. They should be available in open time and during the phase-in process. Trip 2030/13JAN09 will also be revised and be available in open time in its new form."

"There were 376 hours left in open time for Captains and 746 for the First Officers."

"We left approximately 1000 (Capt) and 1250 (F/O) hours in open time after building all possible lines."

So, I expect reserve utilization to be much higher because the company is hiding hours, somewhere.

Those trips and OT hours were not built on lines. They become available for pick up during the view/add and then what is left over is built on VTOs. They are not hiding these trips.

It appears that fewer VTO holders got reserve lines this month, they built their lines with trips and left open time relatively empty. I'm curious as to why there are no STBY's out there. It appears that either they won't have any or they will build them as they need them.
