FDX-Veba

Can someone please remind me what Veba goes toward again? Thanks

The VEBA Plan is a tax-free health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) that enables FedEx to make tax-free contributions into a special trust account on ones behalf. These tax-free funds can then be used to pay or reimburse eligible out-of-pocket health care costs and premiums for that individual, their spouse, and other qualified IRS dependents.

Thanks, Did anyone else notice their ALPA dues were double the usual amount this month?

Opt Out?

Anyone point me to info on opting out of VEBA?

Ditto for me. If I can get out, I will. If I remember correctly I'm not eligible for it anyway(Not old enough).

Did you sell back vacation? Any extras in December plus vacation buyback would be taken out this month.

Anyone know if there's a way to check the balance and status of this trust account?

Yes. I was just about to ask the same. Mine wasn't double but higher than I expected. It should be 1.9% of last month's pay (5 wk month), correct?
