Jumpseat question?

Here is one for you guys? I sent my passport off to get a new Chinese Visa! I need to get home for a family engagement. Do I need to have it to Jumpseat on the Pax carriers, I know for me to Jumpseat here at UPS I just need two forms of ID.

Technically no. You obviously won't be able to occupy a cockpit seat since they can't verify you against your passport. The problem you may find is getting the gate agent to believe you can ride in the cabin as a jumpseater without your passport (and CASS verification).

I have done this before and you're just downgraded to "cabin only" status. I took SWA and their agents didn't have issues with my not having the passport.

Shaggy, I got my passport back in only 4 days.

Same here and only a few months ago. SWA agents were really cool about it...

I have never shown my passport to jumpseat offline on NWA.
