Thumbs up FDX: No special skills - Cactus in the Hudson

Link posted in the Majors section - worth duplicating here.

Can someone please FWD the link to JL, have him watch it, and then ask him if he sticks by his earlier statement regarding pilots and our lack of "special skills"?

Air traffic tapes of Hudson plane crash released - CNN.com

Amazing to hear. Amazing skill and professionalism all around.

(Gotta give the props to the New York boys and girls - when it's all on the line, they do it right!)

Thanks for posting this, I am sending it to everyone I know and posting it on Facebook along with the question "Who still thinks airline pilots are over paid?!"

Excellent work by all involved.

There is a place, as in "...Are you really going to pee over there?"
Their means possessive, as in "...was their CVR somewhere..."

And while I'm on my soapbox,

They're is a contraction of they and are, as in "...see those lesbians? They're a nice couple..."

Or it could have been normal colloquial speech, as in "Was there [a] CVR [transcript] somewhere in that pdf? All I see is TRACON comms?"

I got it. Lighten up Francis.

Your right, no CVR stuff, misread what FANS had asked for. Looking forward to reading that when it comes out as well.
