FDX: Jumpseating out of OKC
Hey all:
I'm going to be out at Altus AFB for 3+ months and I'd like to know if anyone has any gouge for jumpseating out of OKC. I believe it's an Airbus city. How about parking at the ramp? How to get to the pax terminal?
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure about parking since I rent a car whenever I go to OKC, but it's an easy walk from the terminal to the FedEx ramp... maybe two or three blocks at most. And it is an Airbus city... for now.

Enjoy your time at Altus...2 months of training stretched over 4! I did that a few years ago, but when I j/sed out on FedEx there was plenty of parking and I work for UPS (where I couldn't park ). No one ever bothered my car. I also went out of Lawton quite a bit; don't know if you are going to Memphis or somewhere else. If AA is still operating into Lawton it shaves an hour off your drive time and is rarely full. I liked it because I didn't have to wait until 9PM to go home.

Yes, it is an airbus city and there are some spaces for parking at the ramp area, the terminal is within walking distance 1/2 mi at the most. Commuting to mem is no problem with the airbus. NW has 3 flts a day. No morning flights back to Memphis from OKC except Sat. Afternoon flights transition okc then go to tul.
