Awesome video! Thanks for posting!

HSLD 05-04-2006 10:30 PM

That was pretty cool. I only counted 5 diverts - who was the 100%er that went to DFW? :)

byrdseyeviewinc 05-05-2006 12:41 AM

That was pretty cool Freight, I Like That.

atpwannabe 05-05-2006 05:56 AM

That was cool.

Look like little black ants though.

Freight Dog...

You should go read the front page of pilotsofamerica.com. It is quite funny the havoc you/we/us have caused. They believe that they have suffered a denial of service attack. Read it here:

flyerNy 05-05-2006 06:10 PM

thats pretty funny - i wonder how many of us went over there to check it out!

HSLD 05-05-2006 06:19 PM

The link on this thread was only viewed about 500 times, hardly a DOS. 500 views of a 5 Meg file shouldn't be dent in bandwidth - so I'm guessing it was posted all over the place.

You're right, as I first discovered the link on the IPA forum.

For anyone who has a login account for pilotsofamerica, and can download it, is it possible to post it here on APC.
Thanks

And the company will not negotiate a contract with us. As Mr. Rancor the head of the FedEx's safety department claims FedEx's pilots lack of professionalism is the reason for our high mishap rate. Maybe he should take a ride along with us on a night like this...

FX Bone Guy 05-06-2006 12:53 AM

Who's got a web page?

Who's got a web page where I can post the file? - Tell me where to send it. I saved the file of all the little airplanes running around the TSWs to my laptop, so I can forward it to someone that has a website so we can all see it.:)

You can't post a 5 meg file to this forum can you? I'm a new guy...

TonyC 05-06-2006 05:52 AM

You can upload it to YouSendIt.com and paste the url here. Of course, there's a limit to how many times it can be downloaded from there...

How about PutFile.com?

FX Bone Guy, email it to me at john at airlinepilotcentral dot com. I'll consult with Paul and see if we can publish it on our servers.

If I remember correctly, he was invited to leave not long after making those really stupid comments. He wasn't fired but it was suggested that maybe he wasn't a good fit at FedEx.

"Invited to leave"?!?!?

No, he was PROMOTED. He's now the VP of Planning and Performance.

OK. That's kind of why I said "if I remember correctly".

Fedex999999 05-08-2006 10:37 AM

Insulting the pilots and calling us unprofessional kinda makes him seem like he DOES fit in with the Management.......

Sounds like no one "edited" him when he submitted his letter for publication.

I think it's highly likely that his article was fully reviewed and approved, especially considering the venue. It was exactly the message that management would like to convey. Typically, they didn't anticipate how we'd react to it. The "Sodomizer"... Tuna sandwiches... Sick leave... Any of this sound familiar?

Twiceskunkeddog 05-09-2006 05:16 AM

Finally got to see the file...

That was awesome...

I love the part when they send the scout in to see if it's possible and then everyone else dumps in to MEM. I feel for those two that diverted. Must have been a long night... No time for a Barca Lounger....

fr8rcaptain 05-09-2006 06:45 AM

Jammin!!

The music is PERFECT!!:)

smegster 05-11-2006 06:38 AM

Thanks, that will help to make the point. I just read that UND is getting a UAV program? that is going to be a Boon to the school.

We sure are, they'll be flying in and out of the air force base next door as early as this summer...should be pretty wild.

kepano 05-12-2006 11:34 AM

Very fun video! I was wondering who made the music?

To be honest, my knowledge of planes and airlines is quite limited... I just thought it was a great song and was wondering how to get a hold of it!

Oops, I though he was talking about the "other" music.

kepano 05-14-2006 05:00 PM

Hmm... I am fairly certain it is not Aerosmith. Are we talking about the same video?
