Reserve callout at LAX FDX

Anyone know if you can sit Reserve in Lancaster/Palmdale area for Reserve in LAX (is it close enough). And yes I am junior to you, thinking about doing a long leave of absence, growing roots there and sitting Reserve there in the distant future.

Is it three hour callout?

Thanks

3hour callout. 100 miles as a crow flies. Got to figure in some of your own parameters though for traffic and all to make sure you can get there in 3 hours.

I lived in Palmdale and went to school at Cal State Northride when the earthquake hit and took out the bridge. That made the commute a wee bit longer.... Otherwise, it wasn't too bad as long as it wasn't during the typical commute times.

I know one guy who lives in the high desert, he retired out of Edwards. He says you've got to keep a bag packed, and if you get called so you hit the 405/101 interchange around 730-8am, it could be close to 3 hours. Its taken me as long as 55 minutes to go the 14 miles from 404/101 to LAX.

correction - don't think it says 100 miles anywhere. That's for deviation ck in only I believe. Much more than 100 around LAX would be tough to make 3 hours but who knows.
