Wet lease/Management payments?
About a year ago at a pilot hub meeting in April i asked Dave Webb about the accounting for wet lease/management flying and what happened to the funds. The Treasurer said the accounting was not complete yet for 2007 (as of April) and Dave said in front of everyone that he would get the information and distribute it to the crewforce. I looked and cannot find anything that covered this in 2008.
Now we are in 2009 and I have the same question about 2008. What is the accounting of this payment, and where did it go? I realize there probably wasn't much wet leasing, but I know there was management flying.
Does anyone know what the status of these payments were? In 2005 they distributed it to the crewforce. In 2006 my Rep said the union voted to keep the funds to supplement the budget and pay some to VEBA (no vote from the crewforce). So what happened in 2007 and 2008?
