I wish FedEx management would figure that out as well. You sure won't ever catch me doing them a favor or helping out in the slightest bit for the next 20 years....

If they pay you enough you will. That's what they always do -- throw money at the problems.

FWS sent me a personal letter telling me the company would go on, "With or Without Me." How's that for building employee loyalty? YGTBSM!

That's a good one ... reminds me of something I heard from a UPS veteran in my first few months.

"Don't feel bad, UPS thinks all of their employees are thieves that just haven't been caught in the act yet."

That references the famous speech given on first day of new hire indoctrination by someone from Loss and Prevention. Left a huge impression on the '88 hires. Not sure as to the actual truth of this, but heard not too long back that the "gentleman" who gave that pep talk is no longer with the company . . . . fired for theft years later.

Probably for stealing company morale.

also heard from a guy that this their "welcome to UPS speech" on first day of class.

Class....this company has got none!

I certainly hope that the events going on at the present time will reflect badly upon them when things do turn around and they need to hire a few pilots. I hope people are watching and take notes.

If our contract is gutted and they furlough, then people wouldn't have any reason to come here vs. all the other pax carriers. I hope they go elsewhere!

Stability used to the main attraction...they make billions and still want to furlough people...there's business stability, their mental state however...isn't!

Best job I've ever had, worst people I've ever worked for...and they're proud of it.

Simply sick.
