Default FDX- Deviation Bank and Substitution

I apologize if this has been discussed before but my searches were fruitless.

If you get taken off a trip for a conflict, such as a previous trip was extended, and it knocked out a trip with a scheduled deadhead: Do you still keep the bank money? I my case I went into Sub and my extended trip conflicted with my original trip.

I can't find this anywhere. I did see that the contract mentioned if a deadhead was canceled or rescheduled that you'd keep the bank or the higher bank in case of reschedule. I'm just curious if anyone has had this experience?

Thanks.

It's actually fairly simple. If you did nothing to cause the cancellation of your deadhead, and it was all on the company, then you keep the deadhead money. If a deadhead is replaced by another deadhead, then you keep the higher of the two fares. Clear as mud? A call to crew travel audit will confirm this answer.

And if that replacement deadhead is the higher fare, and you can't deviate on it, and you already spent bank money thinking you had a bank to use, you are screwed. fought that for two months and lost.

If you turn down SUB though, I believe you lose the bank.

No, I don't believe so ---- you just lose the pay, put can make it up over the next 2 months at 125% using OTP.

Because you lose trip guarantee if you turn down SUB, you also lose the bank. I tried finding it in the contract and the FOX system but couldn't find it either way.

Read section 8.C.1.f.ii. It is talking about trip changes, I am sure CE Dave will tell you this is the intent for removing bank.

I've talked to different auditors about this, and both say you keep the bank even if you turn down SUB. My subsequent FOX reports have proved this.
