Otherwise, you have to believe BC is just not bright enough to work on a LOA.
Maybe it was a social experiment like the one in Trading Places. BC bet DW and the block reps $1 he could get us to accept a substandard FDA LOA with nothing more than a really good salesman's pitch.

Alright I am back in the game some what. Takes me a few hours to wake up.
Yes pay rates instead of schooling allowance.
I don't believe we will get an increase in anything.
I think I am better at flipping switches.
I should really read what I write.
cheers.

A promise that never made it. You know all that other good deal stuff.
Just what we discussed this last weekend, pretty knowledgeable group of people, other than myself.
Man I give. I am in the running for O for sending out more than one correspondence to Splane one thing.

I spoke with BC during and after the negotiations and he stated very clearly that school allowance was NEVER on the table. Management's fear appeared to be that costs would be open-ended because they would not be able predict how many children would actually be there and thus be unable to forecast costs. That is not to mention how much those costs actually are!

Isn't it 2.3 per household, and a dog?
They can predict when we will die and fund retirement plans, I think they could figure out, or estimate, how many pilots might show up with kids.
Not saying that you are making excuses, but this just sounds like more excuses why we have such a poor LOA. The NC just did a poor job on this one.

They just went cheap, which explains why it took 5 bids to fill HKG.

Depends
"Depends"
Will there be an improved LOA stipend (as asked for by the NC)?
If not, id agree with the guy above. Left seat senior. Right seat senior at the top, real junior in the bottom 10 guys.
I predict the domicile will require a lot of "Depends".
